Our Haifa Support Center is up and running and assisting new immigrants every day. Our team offers support in so many ways, as is reflected by this thank you note from one family who has been helped: My name is Igor, and I came to Israel from Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia almost one year ago. I am 49. I came with my wife Irina and two children, Alexander and Elizabeth, who are students. Our third daughter is married and still living in Russia. The reason we made an Aliyah was because of my wife’s serious health problems. When we came to Israel she had a fourth stage cancer. In April of 2016, she passed away and was buried in Israel. Our entire family needs financial and physical and emotional support. I myself, need physical and emotional healing. In June, I had a surgery and am still not allowed to work by doctors orders, so I had to quit my job. My kids still need my help and support.

I want to thank MTI for your help through the office in Haifa. Your volunteers pay so much attention to me and my family. They always support us with different kinds of help: food vouchers, clothes for me and my kids, and they also pray for me in difficult situations.

Thank you very much, Igor
