Holocaust survivors are a special group of people that MTI loves to help. Through the years, it has been our desire and honor to find ways to make the lives of those who literally lived in concentration camps more comfortable and happy. This is often done through monthly home visits, concerts and food distribution. Recently, we had an opportunity to help 30 of these precious ones by purchasing walkers for them. Many of the survivors do not have family in Israel and some can barely walk. Without a walker, going outside of their apartment is almost impossible, and it further isolates them. Our staff visited each recipient in their home and presented them with this special gift. The walkers were equipped with a seat and features needed to help with stability and mobility. Their smiles were priceless.
