Moving to Israel from another country can be an overwhelming experience. Most families come with high expectations, only to face the initial difficulties of the language barrier, no job offers, high prices with little money and children’s faces looking to you to meet their needs. Our MTI workers encounter those engaged in this struggle daily. Surprisingly, most young families come with a dogged determination to get through every obstacle. Such is the story of this beautiful family that entered the country, living in the South of Israel for a little while and then moving to Tel Aviv where work was more available.
In the process this family heard of the Christians who help and came through our doors. The JSC staff provided the oven pictured here and many other items to help them along the way.
