When the war in Ukraine broke out, Miriam fled Bucha with her son and immigrated to Israel in 2022.Her husband was unable to join them, as he is eligible for military service. In 2024, she gave birth to another son—doing her best to raise two young children on her own.

Despite working two jobs, the financial burden became overwhelming. Both sons were sleeping in the same bed as Miriam, and help from social services was nearly nonexistent. That’s when Miriam turned to MTI.

We were honored to provide her with a new bed for her sons and food cards to help ease the weight she was carrying. When she saw the check, she wept—having just lost her job, the timing was a reminder that God sees her and provides.
