In 2020, Anna Krokos immigrated to Israel from Kyiv with her young daughter, determined to build a new life as a single mother. This past summer, however, brought unexpected challenges. With no funds for children’s camps, Anna had to stay home, limiting her ability to work. Then, a painful toe injury made even simple tasks difficult.

Despite her determination and hard work, Anna found herself struggling to provide for her daughter. When MTI learned of her situation, we stepped in to offer three months of financial assistance and to provide school supplies for her daughter.
