Daria is a single mother of three little children. They came from Mariupol, Ukraine, where their apartment was burned to the ground. Here in Israel, they were living in Ashkelon until the beginning of the war in Israel. Daria and her children had no other choice but to evacuate once again. While having to leave for the place she evacuated to, Daria still had to pay rent for her apartment in Ashkelon. Knowing that Daria didn’t have a job due to the current situation and that she didn’t have enough money to pay for the house, the house owner allowed her not to pay rent for one month. Later Daria found out that the house owner’s son was murdered at the party in Reim on October 7th.
MTI covered her rent for the second month to help her and the house owner get through this difficult period in their lives.
