“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; but we have risen and stand upright.” Pslam 20

IDF REPORT
According to IDF press reports, three IDF soldiers were wounded overnight Friday in a skirmish with armed terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip. The soldiers stormed the house of a terrorist in Beit Lahia and were hit by an anti-tank missile in the exchange of fire. The terrorist that opened fire was shot and killed by the troops.

As of this morning the IDF has penetrated to the depth of 3 – 4 kilometers destroying the infrastructure of terrorist tunnels. Air strikes also continue with 140 targets including underground tunnels, bunkers, weapons warehouses, factories and missile production facilities.

BREAKING NEWS:
Added at 2:30 PM: 2 soldiers were wounded as a group of terrorists entered Israel and engaged the soldiers through a tunnel close to Kibbutz Ein ha Shlosha outside Gaza. Residents were instructed to say inside as the IDF combed the area. Also, heavy rocket fire is reported in central south Israel. One person was killed and three others wounded near Dimona at around noon Saturday by a rocket barrage from the Gaza Strip. All four were from a Muslim Bedouin community. In northern Gaza tank fire destroyed a large warehouse with anti-tank grenade launchers and ammunition, 3 terrorists were killed. Total losses have been 40 terrorists killed and wounded with 21 being captured. The Israeli army is planning to expand ground operation: according to foreign news agencies, still the IDF refrained from entering the built-up area and focusing on finding and eliminating terrorist tunnels on the border with Israel sector. According to the army, the military was able to detect up to 70% of all such tunnels on the border. According to Israeli intelligence estimates, the construction of these tunnels took several years.

In keeping with their hideous use of civilians as human shields and breaking of international laws, Hamas uses ambulances to move personnel and weapons.

Last night more than 135 rockets were from Gaza towards Israel. In total, since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge, the army has struck 2350 targets, some 1100 hidden rocket launchers and 215 command and control centers. Since July 7th, Hamas has fired over 1500 rockets into Israel.

ISRAEL IS NOT FIGHTING THE PEOPLE OF GAZA
Contrary to never-ending media reports, Israel’s actions are not that of an aggressor, especially towards the civilian population of Gaza. To the contrary it’s about defense. There is nothing in Gaza Israel wants except the cessation of rocket fire and the end to the brutal regime of Hamas. Every time there has been a call for cease-fire, Israel complied. The terrorists have not. The goal of Israel is to save lives. The goal of Hamas is to take lives, even of their own people.

The bombing of many buildings by the Israel Air Force is preceded by warnings hours before, leaflets and phone calls forewarn Gazans to leave the area. Hamas, on the other hand, forbid people to leave, using them as human shields.

The goal of Hamas is to: kill, steal and destroy. Israel’s goal in contrast is to preserve life in order that people may live free and abundantly prosperous lives – on both sides of the border.

THINK ABOUT IT: If Hamas were to lay down its weapons and stop firing rockets, Israel would immediately pull back, cease firing, begin pouring in aid and help rebuild Gaza. If Israel were to lay down its weapons, Hamas would systematically slaughter every Jew, destroy their towns and cities and irradiate the very memory of Israel. Then they would build an Islamic terrorist state on Israeli ground to wage war against the West, in particular, the United States. If someone is looking to blame anyone for the blood-shed of innocent people in the Middle East, they need look no farther than Hamas and every other Islamic extremest group infesting other regions of the world.

THANK GOD FOR ISRAEL’S PROTECTION OF THE FREE WORLD

“For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long and praise Your name forever.” Psalm 44
